"Metro Mayhem"...

I had a commission of sorts,
two  of my long time fans(one goes all the way back to OneList -1997, the other a fellow DA member who , sadly passed away this year.  They have requested a series of perils / fatal endings involving women dressed in the metro dispatchers uniform I drew for my "Alice"..
( navy blue vest and skirt, light blue or white shirt - option of black boots) 

Now the Japanese policewomen wear uniforms like this, and either Norway or Sweden used this style, so I'm not really
creating a fantasy uniform ( like I thought I was)...

So I have come up with a story line to fit the mayhem to follow...

It's a rough world out there, murders and violence are everyday fare. Local governments are short of cash, and it shows.

Here's the world where my uniformed beauties live.

The year is 1979, the place, Metro 911, a multi-jurisdiction Law Enforcement support agency, of The Metropolitan Police Force.
Nicknamed"Metro", they cover a major city and almost all the communities in an area covering two counties, with over 12 million people. Metro 911 provides emergency phone answering using a new emergency phone system, dialing 9-1-1.

The original purpose of Metro was support services, police records, warrants, and crime lab tech's, all
centralized. Now Metro includes 9-1-1 call takers and dispatchers for almost every police and fire department in the area.

Metro employs several hundred people (99% of them young single women) in various positions, fileclerks and typists
( yes, they still used typewriters in 1979) phone call takers, dispatchers, computer operators for the new 9-1-1 systems, and lab tech's in the expanding field of crime scene investigations. Metro also has taken over the parking meter system, and has over a hundred "meter maids".

Metro's female employees all wear versions of the same basic uniform, navy blue skirts (or slacks), vests, and a light blue uniform shirt. Supervisors wear white shirts. Black pumps or boots complete the uniform.

Metro is housed in the old central police station in the city, a mulit story stone edifice built in 1898, that was almost torn down 10 years earlier.
In spite of the hustle and bustle of all the people, and the gleaming "new" equipment, the building retains it's creepy, haunted feeling, with many dark, quiet and secluded areas.

Into this,  we introduce some mayhem....
An attempt to destroy the new computer system with a virus, replacing the supervisor with a doppelganger, a double, who killed the supervisor only to be killed herself, when the attempt was discovered and repaired with only minor delay.
Later, some guys take out a supervisor by arrow attack, so that a girlfriend can get a promotion...which incites several "copycat" killers to give their versions,  several other Metro employees are missing...which brings us to now.

A mysterious man drives into the city and happens to stop at a chain fast food place for breakfast. There, he watches a very cute, red
headed Metro records clerk eating her breakfast sandwich. He walks up to her and says hello, and a conversation leads to him offering her a
ride home. Several peril filled hours later he leaves her battered dead body in a dumpster. He obtained some very valuable information about Metro,  the bevy of beauties working there, and the cover up concerning the rash of recent murders, and disappearances  of Metro employees. He then decides to stay awhile and check out "Metro" ,   Oh yea, he likes women in uniform... he's been crossing the country, and has left behind untold numbers of bodies. Women describe him as handsome or hunky, could charm a cat down from a tree, irresistible.  Smart, and body builder strong, but not musclebound. Tells everybody his name is Hans, and uses a fake but practiced, European accent.

Hans in one of several villains stalking Metro.  Punkinhead is still at large, he was  a serial killer from the late 60's who's victims were mostly flight attendants and nurses. After a seven year reign of terror, he simply disappeared. Didn't move, may have been in prison, or may have passed
away, but the killings stopped. 
Until last month...A Security guard watching an old house  near where Metro's headquarters are, was attacked and killedin Punkinhead's style. He's back, and he has found a new source of victims....

  There are a couple of white slavers operating in the area. (Nice looking law enforcement women are highly sought after by the drug kings as playthings.)

It's 1979, and this is Metro 9-1-1...
